Sophomore Alaina Girani was tabbed as the Big South Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year and was also named to the All-Conference First Team. Girani earned her second First Team honor in two years as she has led the conference in goals-against average with a 6.41 average and save percentage at .529.  She ranks fourth and sixth, respectively, in the NCAA in those two categories.
