Schippers picked up her first collegiate win as a goalie on Oct. 2 in the Eagles Big South opener against Gardner-Webb. In the contest, she grabbed four saves and allowed one goal. Earlier in the week against South Carolina State (Sept. 29), she tied a career-high with eight saves in Winthrop's 2-1 overtime defeat. Schippers finished the week with 12 saves and a save percentage of .800. She started in both games last week and also played in every minute of the contests.
