Sophomore Ashley Sloup (Southport, NC) captured her first collegiate tournament medalist title by shooting a 1-under par 69 in the Forest Oaks Fall Classic in Greensboro, NC.  She led Winthrop to the team title in the rain-shortened event which was scheduled as a 54-hole tournamnent.  Sloup was the only player in the field to finish under par.
