Madilyn McCarty, a setter from Springfield, IL, was named the Big South Crons Brand Freshman of the Week.  She averaged 10.8 assists per set in the team's three victories with a career-high 53 assists against Georgia Southern.  She also totaled 17 digs and 10 blocks on the weekend and hit. 429.
