Rachel Lenz was named to the Big South All-Conference First Team and the Big South Player of the Week this week.  Lenz, a middle blocker from Lancaster, PA, has earned annual Big South recognition each of her three years as an Eagle.  This season Lenz has had a standout season offensively and defensively.  Lenz leads the Big South and is fifth in the NCAA with 154 total blocks.  She owns the Winthrop record and is five blocks shy of breaking the Big South record for total blocks in a single season under the 25-point scoring format.  She has earned two Defensive Player of the Week awards and one Player of the Week award this season.
