Senior outfielder McKenzi Corn has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Softball Player of the Week, announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
 
Corn batted .571 (8-for-14) with five runs and eight RBI last week to lead the Eagles to a 4-1 record and two series victories that included a series win at Campbell. Corn also finished with a 1.071 slugging percentage, .667 OBP, three walks, two home runs, two multi-RBI games and two multi-hit efforts in five games.
