Sophomore middle blocker Rachel Lenz has been named to the Big South Defensive Player of the Week it was announced Monday by the conference office.

Lenz, a native of Lancaster, PA, had a standout performance both offensively and defensively against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs Saturday afternoon.

In the five-set victory for the Eagles, Lenz recorded a career-high 21 kills and tied her career-high in blocks with nine total.  She also added three more blocks, including two solo Friday evening against Gardner-Webb and also tallied four digs.
