Winthrop junior Meagan Wallace was selected as the Choice Hotels Big South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week after capturing  medalist honors at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate (par 72, 5,810 yards) with a 2-over par 146 (75-71).  Tied for fifth-place after the first round, Wallace carded a tournament low 71 in the final round to win the event by two strokes.  It was her second tournament title and helped Winthrop claim the runner-up spot as a team -- the squad's best finish of the spring season.
