Dequesha McClanahan was selected College Sports Madness Big South Conference Player of the Week after leading Winthrop to two double-digit victories over Coastal Carolina and Campbell.  She averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4 assists in the two games.  She scored 16 points against Coastal and topped that with a 25-point effort at Campbell as she was nearly perfect on shooting going 9 of 11 from the floor, included 3 of 3 from behind the arc, and 4 of 4 from the free throw line while grabbing seven rebounds and handing out five assists.
