Redshirt-junior Meagan Wallace (Charlotte, N.C.) was selected as the Choice Hotels Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week for her performance in the Highlander Invitational hosted by Radford University.

Wallace won the Highlander Invitational (par 71, 6,179 yards) in her first Winthrop tournament appearance.  She shot a 1-over par 145 (71-74) for the first day, 36-hole event that included four Big South teams and 25 golfers from the Conference in the eight-team field.  She won the event by one stroke and helped the Lady Eagles to a second-place team finish.
