- Winthrop nearly overcame a 19-stroke deficit to capture the event, but fell two strokes shy in a strong showing in the final round
- The Eagles were -1 for the day as the closest team in the day was High Point's +15
- The 287 for a team score in 18 holes is a program record
- Sloup was 1-of-2 Eagles under par on the day as Julie Reinertsen bounced back from an 85 on Saturday to shoo 71 (14 stroke improvement) as she placed tied for 17th
- Sloup's previous low was a 69 as she led the field in Par 3 and Par 4 scoring at -1 on each as she finished with a tournament best 11 birdies
- Dantonio began the day in a tie for third but turned in a 74 to move up one spot to place second
- Sloup and Dantonio were co-medalist honors at the 2016 Winthrop Intercollegiate
- It is the fourth career win for Sloup
- Morgan McClaughtery, who tied her collegiate low of 77 on Saturday, bettered that by two strokes on Sunday as she shot 75 to finish in the Top 10 for the first time in her career
- McClaugherty finished with a team-best 23 pars (tied for third most in the field)
- Dantonio finished third in the field with seven birdies and tied Sloup in Par 3 scoring at -1
