Players Talk To CMS' River Gate Elemetary Students About Bullying

ROCK HILL, SC--Members of the Winthrop women's basketball team took part in a recent Bullying Prevention Month program at River Gate Elementary School in Charlotte.

While at the school, Winthrop players spoke to the fifth graders about the issue of bullying, including standing up to it and reporting acts of bullying when it is observered. While at the school, the Eagles also mingled with the students, posed for photos and played games against two fifth grade teams.
