ROCK HILL, SC--Dylan Comerford and Michael Chen advanced to the finals of their singles divisions on Saturday in the Carolinas Invitational being held at Winthrop's Memorial Courts while the doubles team of Steven Patrick and Yuta Hirokawa reached the finals in the Division 2 doubles draw.

Comerford (So., Johannesburg, S. Africa)  defeated David Clavera of Campbell (6-7, 6-4, 6-1) and Roman Piftor of Gardner-Webb  (1-6, 6-2, 6-1) to advance to finals of Div. 2 singles draw that will start at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Chen  (Fr., Johnson City, TN) defeated Brendan Dempsey of GWU (6-1, 6-1) and Ondreg Kralik of Campbell (3-6, 7-5, 7-5) . He will face Matt Parker of GWU at 11:30 a.m .in the Div. 3 Singles Final.

Patrick (Fr., Knoxville, TN) and Hirokawa (Jr., Nigata, Japan) advanced to the Div. 2 Doubles Final with a 8-2 win over Edward Snead and Nathan Crocker of Presbyterian. They will face the Georgia State duo of Thomas Cook and Lucas Santa Ana at 9 a.m.
